The international airport in Manado (MDC) is easy to reach with regular flights to and from Singapore, Jartaka, Bali and other airports within Indonesia.

Sailing from the harbor behind the Celebes Hotel, you may take one of 4 Public boats which sail every day, except Sundays and Public Holidays, between 14.00hrs and 15.00hrs and take around 45 minutes each way, the price is 50.000 Idr and you pay at the beach when it arrives on Bunaken.
Take the boat called "Stella Maris". From the village to our resort it is a 25-30 minutes walk, we can arrange a pick up from the publick boat for 20.000 pp.

The return trip to Manado is around 08.30am Daily except Sundays and Public Holidays.
On the very rare occasions of High Winds and Waves all Ferries may be cancelled.

You can also arrange the transfers to Bunaken by yourselves which is slightly cheaper.
From the airport, take a taxi (± 150,000 Idr.) to the harbor behind the Celebes hotel where you can charter a private boat (± 600,000 Idr.) to bring you to the Bunaken Sea Garden Resort.

P.S.  After 16.00 pm boats can not exit or enter the Manado harbor (Government rule).  Until 17.00 pm we can arrange a pick up from Manado and bring you to Bahowo (north of Manado) where our boat can pick you up.

Bunaken National Park Entrance Fee.
All visitors to the Bunaken National Park (divers and non-divers) are required to pay an entrance fee.
The entry to the park costs Rp 50,000 per day or Rp 150,000 per calendar year.
As proof of payment you will receive a waterproof plastic tag.
